Went for a ride today

:D I went for a ride today first of the season, it was chilly about 32 they were calling for snow in the afternoon so I went early. I only rode seven miles but I was smiling. This was the first ride on my bent, it is a Bacchetta Giro, I couldn't wait any longer. I bought my wife one also but I couldn't get her out today, maybe this coming weekend it is supposed to be in the 50's.

I got out Sunday for my first ride in about a month. It was 30F when I started and 37F by the time I finished. My fairing kept most of the wind off me, and it was actually pretty comfortable. I wore light breathable full-finger gloves and occasionally had to stick them out in the airstream to cool off. The intent was to ride the temp in F, but I planned on it getting to 39F, so I got in 2 extra miles!

Didn't see any other bikes while I was out.

Got a whole 5 miles in today! Got home from work, quickly changed clothes, jumped on bike and went around the block. I got home just as the sun disappeared below the trees.

35F and sunny, er, clear.

What a great day today was for a ride!:D When I got off work it was 51 degrees out. And I took my Catrike on an 8 mile ride through the local hills.
While I've ridden earlier this year, I think this is the start of biking/triking season.

I put the slicks back on the EVOX and went out for a fairly fast 10 mile ride on Saturday. It was an utter blast! I was out on Sunday and Monday evening as well, but not as far. I put on 1500 miles last year and I am hoping for 2000 this year! (That's on both Italian racer and bent.)
