After searching this forum and the web and not coming up with any answers, I thought I'd post a question to the members of the forum. I'd like to get a 24" cruiser and I've narrowed it down to a few, but I haven't actually seen these bikes and no one in my area seems to stock them. I'm thinking of:
Redline Proline 24
GT Power Series 24
FMF Pro Cruiser
MCS Magnum 24
Felt Sector 24
Free Agent Ambush 24
Haro SR 24
Not a very short list. Does anyone here have personal experience with these bikes? If so, I'd be interested to hear what you think. I'm generally interested in light weight, long TT (21.5" or more), good components and that the frame be well made, i.e., quality tubing, good welds, etc.
The bike will be used for light trail riding and a little jumping, no racing. I know all of the above frames are aluminum. If it breaks, then I'll buy a high end CroMo frame and switch the components.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
Oh, and before you post, I am aware that cruisers suck.
