I am curious if anyone uses platform pedals on their tandem. Before I get a bunch of comments regarding the virtues of clipless pedals, I do use them on my single, but I am not confortable using them on the tandem yet. I was thinking of going with some Crankbrothers 50/50 which are MTB pedals. These offer great traction without clipping in. Does anyone use strickling platforms on their bike? Pros/Cons?

Thanks

We use Shimano pedal that are platform on one side and clipless on the other. They are great! If we are just going for a cruise in the neighborhood and just want to wear sneakers we use the platform side and if we are going to get serious, we use clipless side. I think they are m324 model #
