Hey guys I posted this question before but never came to any proper conclusion. So I'm looking to build up a set of wheels and I was wondering (disregarding price) what set of hubs is going to be nicer.

Miche Primato, Suzue ProMax SB or Surly.

Please do not comment on how I should buy Dura-Ace hubs or Phils, I'm not willing to invest that kind of capital at this juncture.

Also if anyone has any recommendations on a super-low-profile rim, I'm all ears (something like an MA-40 or MA-2 but still in production).

Thanks everyone.

someone needs to make a sticky concerning all these "which hub/rim/Ebay frame/buttplug is better" threads.

One time, my friend used this set of cartridge bearing hubs, and his house exploded. It was one of those three, but I forget which.

as far as 'traditional' rims go, I like velocity razors...no opinion on the hubs.
