I am also 200lb. I would go with king hubs with cxp 33 rims. A little heavier, but a lot stronger. Replacement spokes are easier to obtain if necessary. Krysiums or Amer. Classic have to be warrantied.

thanks for the replys
Both are great wheels - strong, light and durable. The SL's durability is legendary while the 420's is merely excellent. Even at 200 pounds, either would be a fine choice.

This is true. Standard spokes will also be cheaper. Ksyrium spokes run around $5/each and there are three different lengths of bladed spokes on the Ksyrium SL wheelsets:
Front
Rear Driveside
Rear Non-driveside
They're also available in both silver and black.
Krysiums or Amer. Classic have to be warrantied.
With regards to Ksyriums, this is not true. You can replace the spokes on a Ksyrium SL as you would any other wheel. You do need a different spoke wrench but that's supplied with the wheel.

I'm 220 lbs and I've had a set of American Classic CR420's since last summer. Great wheels, no problems. As Rad says, the SL's have a great reputation. You could also consider custom built wheels from Mike Garcia or Eric Gottesman, I had wheels made by both builders and can equally recommend both of them.
