I got a new 2001 Bianchi SL Daytona with the Levitation wheelset last month and I AM IN LOVE! I used to spend a lot of time on my mountain bike (Zaskar Team) I seemed to be doing so much road riding on it getting to the trails that I decided to put some road tires on one of my mt. bikes. I was instantly hooked. I shopped around for a long time and decided on the Bianchi. This thing amazes me every time I ride it how smooth and efficient it is. It might be because this is my first REAL road bike, but I love this thing. Forever (from now on) a roadie!! PS. Does anybody know of any Bianchi owner clubs out there, kinda like the old Camaro and Mustang clubs?

I don't know of any Bianchi clubs but welcome to BF.

Say goodbye to the mountain bike. You have finally seen the light.:D

HEY, hold on god damned minute! You mean to tell me that after I get my first road bike in a couple weeks, that I'll never ride my MTB again????????? You've got me thinking of whether or not I want to persue this whole "Rodie" thing....

I LOVE DIRT!

I got a new 2001 Bianchi SL Daytona . . .and I AM IN LOVE!
Welcome - I know how you feel.

My Bianchi San Remo is 2 years old and has over 4,000 miles on it. The San Remo is a touring bike but I only took it for day rides until recently when I loaded up the panniers. I was surprised to find that the bike seemed MORE stable – now that’s a good bike.

On the subject of new Bianchis, I am thinking about getting one for racing. :) Does anyone know anything good or bad about either the XL EV3 Aluminum or XL EV3 Aluminum/Carbon frames? Thanks!
