I think it is funny that he says that it will not scratch, but in one of the pictures you can clearly see scratches on the frame!

How can you Not Get It? Read the text. This guy is sooooooooo excited about this bike. He compairs it to all sorts of objects and wonderful machinery. It is just funny to me how he describes everything. You don’t see it? Oh well, perhaps it’s just my since of humor.
P.S. I'm glad some of you think it's funny....

You should see his other auctions, all for bikes. They're all written in the same way.
Although he writes like he's writing for the DAK Catalog (anyone remember those?), he appears to be legit - he has the ability to hype up whatever he sells. And it seems to be working, too - given the number of bids he's gotten.

I saw scratches too. It is a nice looking bike but for a 5 year old bike if I read right, the price is a little steep I thought.

I get it, the prose is just wretched.
The funny part is it is so completely eBay.

Actually it sais "The finish is very hard and resists scratching and chiping much better then conventional painted frames."
It doesn't say it WONT scratch, it says it will RESIST them.
