I saw last night that there will be a special on Lance Armstrong Monday night at 9:00 on the Discovery Channel. The previews look pretty good.

If it's on discovery, it'll re-air later that day. You might want to consider getting a VCR, it's not like they are THAT expensive and it'll save your marriage.

What is your wife's favorite show anyways?

Third Watch, which is NOT on tonight...

But I don't see anything about LA listed on the Guide Channel...

Hmmm...

Oh, yeah, she LOVES the whole NBC Thursday night line-up.
Of course, that would be bicycle night on OLN.

No, I had to work Saturday. Hopefully I'll be able to ride this weekend. I was hoping to do the helmet ride in Greensboro but it starts so late I'll have to miss it so I can take my son on a cub scout hike.

I was very disappointed to see the show about LA wasn't on last night. I did see an advertisement for it, really I did.

Sorry for the mis-information all.

The only thurs. night program I watch is ER. I suggest getting a VCR. The good thing about OLN and Discovery is they rerun shows in the wee hours so you can tape them.

I don't think the Lance program aired on Discovery in canada yet, but it probably will.

It was on. The guide had it listed as Linda Carter's battle with alcoholism.

It was pretty good. No new info if you've read the book, but good nonetheless.

Agree with ChipRGW basically a one hour
synopsis of the first half of Its not about the bike.
What really surprized me tho, although I knew about
the weight loss, LA's complete body type appears
changed. Like going from Mezomorphe to ectomorph.
(of course I was in south africa during LA's early years
and didn't get all that much cycling coverage so I didn't
see him).
Its striking how much the cancer changed him.
In Dallas they listed it as Sarah Ferguson's weight battles
(I think that was it, it was Fergie whatever it was).
Think that Discovery could get it right.

LOL, it's actually kind of funny that they listed it as being about weight loss and then they show poor lance- totally weird. But yeah, he was more stocky before that, more like a sprinter. For sure, it's one way to lose weight but I think one we'd all rather not have happen to us.

Once during the Tour, I remember phil and paul talking about how the average weight loss by riders during the tour is 7.7 kilos. I thought yep, that's it, I gotta do the tour!
