Cyclocross - Ksyrium Equipe vs. Campy Vento

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm getting a cross bike that has the Ksyrium Equipe wheelset. I just ordered the Campy Vento as a second wheelset with the idea of one set mostly for road use and the other for trails. Can anyone tell me which of the two wheelsets would be better for roads and which one for trails? Thanks.

They're almost equal so why worry?

Not worried, just wondering if anyone has experience with both and would think one might be better than the other for offroad vs. road.

My experience with Vento's is they're very strong but a little on the heavy side. You can't beat the $250 price though. Not too much real world experience with Mavic's though. Overall, Campy factory wheels, especially in the low to mid range, are very durable and an excellent buy for the money. Good luck
