when i done my chain tention on my bmx, i got it to where it has little slack or play, which i heard is normal, but when i spin the pedals, i spin them non stop nad i can feel the chain get taught real tight(i have my fingers over it) then all the sudden it gets loose or back to normal, now this keeps repeating. Know i dont have this problem with my other bmx bike, so whats wrong?

Common sense should tell you that your sprocket is either bent, or it's not aligned properly.

sprocket it straight, and not bent. But i will check the alignment

Aside from the fact that sprockets are rarely perfectly true in the first place, it doesn't take a noticeable bend to put a tight spot in a chain.

I installed my sprocket incorrectly, and broke a chain racing. Things happen.

That's why I run a 3/16" street chain. Snapped too many normal sized chains when I was a fly weight.
