Cycling in the paradise of Tuscany, this tour starts near Florence in Val di Pesa. Ride through the towns of San Gimignano, Siena, Asciano, Pienza, Orvieto, Civita di Bognoregio, and Viterbo. Explore the region of Chianti and the cypress lined classic Tuscan roads of Val d'Orcia made famous by movies such as “Under the Tuscan Sun” and the “English Patient”. Sample wines produced from the local vineyards. Highlighting this tour, Eddy Merckx will be riding with us from Viterbo to our hotel on Lake Bracciano just outside Rome where we will be having a special dinner with Eddy and discuss the latest news from the Giro d’italia.
