I grew up listening to the song and love it.
I've just never seen the movie.
Its on TMC[the movie channel] now.
Has anyone seen it?

Theres also Woody Guthrie's music in the movie
now I know who does the "Car Car" song from the commercial

I've seen it.

It's funny in parts, pretty awful (but still amusing) in others.

The music is good, and it's a nice little 'time-capsule' from 1969.

Now that its over, I will say the song is much much better than the movie!
I'm glad I got to see it.
The court stuff and the army examine were pretty amusing.

It's worth it to see the sixties-era Arlo Guthrie.
Another interesting time capsule is "Two Lane Blacktop", featuring a young James Taylor (pre male-pattern baldness with long black hair) and Warren Oates. The flick is actually fairly decent.
