General Cycling Discussion - Edit/delete button

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I for one, find this button extremely valuable. I find that when I am typing, I think what I am going to type faster than I actually type it. Which results in me leaving out words, punctuation and other various things that can contribute to bad grammar. So how valuable is the edit/delete button to you?

I tried putting my cursor in Badger's avatar and hitting, "delete," but it doesn't work. Other than that, it's quite helpful cleaning up after over-ranting.
(Just kidding, folks!) ;)
Who the heck voted that they were a grammar extrordinaire? I refuse to believe anybody at this site is and extrordinaire.

Never mind that question, I don't know how I got deluded into thinking someone claimed to be a grammar extrordinaire.

I would die without it :) Luckly you can edit a post within a few min, and the "Last edited by..." text wont come up .

Hahaha! Another thing i like is the "Ignore List"... kinda like the buddy list, but you can totaly ignore a user, currently im testing it out on Pete... hmm, has pete even posted in the last two weeks? :)
j/k pete!
The ignore button doesn't show posts by people on the ignore list?? hmm, I can't think of anybody I want to ignore.

Yeah, i dont really use it, nobody to ignore, oh well...
Doh, this was my 400th post, what a thread to waste it in..... :)
I find the poll results alarming. Either we have a heap of extrordinaires, or people are to embarrassed to acknowledge their complete dependance on the edit/delete button to turnout coherent, grammatically correct posts. You guys better be careful, anymore of this wrong doing to the edit/delete button and joe will have to delete it!!! So HA!!!
