I picked this up a while ago off of a listing on craigslist:
http://community.webshots.com/album/546602652dHMdZs (http://)
The guy I bought it from said he had it custom-made for him in the mid-80s. He claimed to have spent over $1000 on it back then; It was ridden around NYC 20 years ago, and has been in storage since. Its in pretty good condition for its age-- theres a few scratches and needs new tires (sew ups) but other than that its in good shape. The Decals read “Daniel Salmon,” which seems to be the name of a small builder in France (website here: http://www.cyclesdsalmon.com (http://)/) Its got Stronglight crank, speedy modulo brakes, Columbus steel frame (55cm) , huret RD, Campy FD, says "made in France" all over it. Does anyone have any information on this brand?
