Wow. I was speechless with the movie. Ed Norton, I felt was terrific in it, and was, just, ugh, amazing. Even though it was quite graphic, i felt, after that amazing endind(totally didnt expect that) the message hit home from the monologue of the brother of ed norton, danny.

" So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned - my conclusion, right? Well, my conclusion is: Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it. Derek says it's always good to end a paper with a quote. He says someone else has already said it best. So if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong. So I picked a guy I thought you'd like. 'We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature."

I think this was an excellent way to end this movie, this is the first time I saw it, and i thought it was great. What are your thoughts/comments/feelings on the movie?

I thought it was one of the best films I've ever seen. Ed Norton is a genius.

A very disturbing movie.

An excellent movie, but very disturbing,because these people exist.

I've yet to see the part on the curb, I always manage to miss it.

This is an excellant film with great acting. Edward Norton is incredible in this film. The curb scene is very disturbing.

Funny thing is, hatred is so blind, so much the cause and function of blindness, that those who hate cast no reflection, and therefore cannot see themselves as anything but the hated.

Hatred is no further then the lame bus drivers for the Via bus lines. Here in Houston they drive straight at cyclists with no remorse. Staring you straight in the face they try to push you right off of the road. Will swing 4 lanes in 10 minutes just so that they can try to push you off .

Those bastards do that around here too! They come up right next to you and slow down so you're next to the bus, about mid-way back. Then they start moving over squeezing you into the parked cars or the kerb. BASTARDS! The first time that happened, I thought that maybe they didn't see me and had to pull over for a bus-stop, but the next stop was over 2-miles away! BASTARD! I'm reporting all these incidents from now on, not sure if it'll make a difference. I should mount my video-camera when I ride and get it on tape. Then email the footage to everyone on the city-council, police-deparment, DA's office, etc...

Yah, Ed Norton did a great job on that movie. Scary part is that none of it's fiction!:(

I saw this movie maybe like five or six years ago.. I honestly thought it glamorized being a nazi-skinhead i.m.o. Really, I would like to know when a gang of nazi skinheads ever played basket ball with a group of black men.. -and won :eek: . . I'm serious, -did you see those skin heads? That guy Edward Norton was the only one who was in decent shape, -most of the others were skin & bones or morbidly obese.. I mean, -how does that happen? If a group of nazi skinheads challenged me to a game of basketball, I'd get the hell out off there.. -and if I was with some other friends/acquantances -then we would pound the ever-living sht out of those skinheads and take their ball, and probably take their boots and pants as well -and then tie them to a fence with their underwear around their ankles.. That movie may have had the best of intentions, but I thought glorified them, and I think it was really totally fake.
