Hi I need to deliver a bike from London to Scotland the cheapest possible way.

Does anyone know the cheapest way to do this and what company to use?

ParcelForce told me the bike which is 1 x 0.25 x 1.75 meters in demensions is over their limit!

Any ideas??

Log into Google or Ask Jeeves, then type in to enquiries "parcel deliveries" see what comes up

My bike was delivered by Parcel force - I eventually had to go and pick up the box - the load bed of my landrover is 6 feet long and the door is at least 1 m high. The box would not fit in it - I recon the box was at least 0.25x1.25x2.0M

When you ship a bike, you remove the wheels, turn the bars sideways, and turn the fork around the opposite direction. Put the wheels inside the main box, either side of the frame. This way, you can get even a full-sized bike in a box about 48"x36"x10".
