I've heard good of this: http://www.bikecult.com/works/parts.html#hs

Generic road straight-blade forks $57.00, 1" threaded, chrome-plated chomoly tubing, semi-sloping crown, recessed brake mount for short reach 49mm caliper with 700c wheel, two steerer sizes avaiable: 200mm and 250mm, with 75mm thread and 60mm key slot, no eyelets, tips with wheel retention flange, Taiwan. 4 Photos

this is the one I got , it was the cheapest I could find online....it is in threadless and threaded models, put this on my mt bike and it works great...if you order from aebike, great service but it takes awhile for the order to arrive

Try Nashbar. In the recent past I've seen threaded steel forks in their catalog and the price was very reasonable.
