Happy thanksgiving to our american friends!

Just out of curiousity, what size is the turkey everyone is having for dinner? In weight, that is.

And on friday night....

Put on yer yarmulke, here comes Chanukah!

We had a fresh, free range, 9.7 pound bird.

I couldn't taste much. I've been out of circulation with the flu since Sunday. Still feel like $h!t. I've had bad colds before but this is the first time I've ever had the flu. I wouldn't wish this stuff on my worst enemy. I feel like I've been run over by an SUV. :(

What??? Left over turkey for Chanukah??? :crash:

Two 18 pound birds, with plenty of leftovers. One smoked on the grill and another roasted in the over.

We have my family and the inlaws over for a great time, and the party is just dying down. Maybe my two year old will actually sleep through the night tonight/

I would like to say - for the record - that I am thankful to have found such a wonderful forum, and to have received such great advice from everyone.

To those outside of the US that don't celebrate Thanksgiving - Thanks anyway ;)

Cheers
