A couple days ago, I decided to to buy the full version of the game, as the trial version was getting boring. Does anyone else play Halo for PC? Would you be interested in getting in a game together?

Some friends and I play Halo 2 on the XBox, but I've never tried a PC version. XBox Live is hella fun, tho.:D I've got the same name on there if you guys ever wanna give it a try.

I beat the Halo PC version last semester, it was pretty sweet. I was in a total time warp for a couple days, it was all I did in between sleeping and classes. It took me about 12 hrs total.

I downloaded the trial version a long time ago and got hooked. Im frequently on the full online version now.

Heh, the only time I ever play single player is when my internet connection isn't working...which is quite often sadly :( The only reason I bought the game was for multiplayer.

Sorry to bring back this old thread, but I've got a question that maybe someone can help me with. When I'm playing multiplayer Halo, I will occaissionally get a huge spike in my ping that usually doesn't go away. My ping will go up to around 2500-3000, making the game unplayable. It doesn't seem to affect the other players, and I'm not sure what is causing it. This doesn't happen in every game; sometimes I can play for hours without any problems, other times it will happen just seconds after joining a game, and will continue to be a problem in all the other games I join. If anyone has any ideas of what might be causing the problem, please help me out here. Thanks!

On call of duty 2, if I select Lan/Cable/DSL instead of ISDN my ping goes from 250 to 999+ and it freezes during the game.
