Road Cycling - free mileage/training logs

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi, I've got 2 of these training log booklets that Bicycling magazine sent me. I don't imagine that i'll ever use them. So if you would like one let me know and i'll send it to you. They're not year-specific so you can you them anytime in the future. Well, that's all I have to say about that.
thbirks: Why don't you scan it and post it so that everybody can download it. As an alternative (if it is several pages), you could offer to e-mail it.

I used to have that Bicycling Training Log, but after three years of posting it, it get like it was already annoying, so what I did was, I just post it on my computer all the kilometers that I have ride... the condition of the ride, my intensity level my average speed, the atmosphere at the time of the ride and presto I have an instant outlook of all my rides....

It's not very indepth... you could do something better in Excel or Word and put exactly what you want on it.
If I get a chance I will scan a page from one of my 6 though! :)
Please do, I would be very interested.

Hmmm, maybe posting this on a website wasn't the way to go. Seems ya'll would rather use a computer program or something. Maybe i'll start using the log myself. I'll have to hook my bike computer back up, but it might be motivation to get myself back into shape. I've put on some weight recently. Augh!!!!

I used a quatro pro speadsheet to make up a ride log.
As someone said you can customize it any way you want, and automatically keep track of mileage totals, per bike totals, average speeds etc.
It's interesting to look back on, to see changes, improvements etc., even if you're not using it for training.
