okay, my PhilWood bb did not come with instructions, so I just put the thing in with the rings to make sure the chainline was good and left it in overnight. Today I found the instruction .pdf on their sire (which i should have done to begin with) and realized i put it in backwards, with the "l" toward the non-drive side. I don't think this should be a problem (campy symmetrical 111 for a track crank), but need to make sure before i apply the loctite. And if i do need to remove, how can i get the mouting ring off? its stuck on there GOOD. Okay, thanks in advance.

I've had mine in backwards with no ill effects.

As far as getting the ring off, thread it into the bracket shell and give the spindle a good hard whack with a 2x4.

well, since you've alleviated my woes, no ring removal will be necessary right now, but thanx for the 2x4 advice. . . later dudes
