Touring - Equipment/Packing Advice

I am planning to do mostly off-paved-road touring on forest service roads, rails to trails and maybe even some single track mixed in. I purchased a bob with suspension, topeak handlebar and topeak MTX trunk bag DX (has small drop down panniers). I'll be touring on a MTB.
I need to buy everything else, a free standing tent, sleeping bag, pad, stove... for 3 season touring.
Please advise on any products that you would recommend.
I expect to do multiple short 3-10 day trips initially.
Also wondering how to split the weight up between my bike bags and the bob.

Your topic is so broad that it's going to be hard for anyone to address.

However, I'll give you my opinion on one thing. You don't need a lot of on-bike storage if you have the BOB. You can carry way more in the BOB than you need to as it is. The only storage you need on the bike is for items that need quick access. This would be things like flat repair, multitool, small medical kit, camera, maps, a couple snacks, etc. Much of this can be carried in a CamelBak and/or a seat bag. Having a large front bag and trunk is way overkill for these items.

Thanks. I had read somewhere that the bike/trailer setup might handle better with some of the weight on the bike rather than all in the trailer. As far as specifics, since I do have plenty of room in the bob, would you opt for a larger tent than say a BD First Light ?
