Touring - Tent and sleeping bag recommendations

I'll be doing the TransAm route starting in early June. This is going to be a self-contained ride I do w/ a couple of other people. I wanted to know if anybody can recommend a good tent and sleeping bag for the trip. My only restrictions are that the tent should be lightweight, for one person, and of course compact enough to fit on the bike or in a trailer. The sleeping bag should also be lightweight and not necessarily one that is meant for camping in the arctic. Other than that, I'm open to suggestions. And for those of you wondering, yes, I will be getting one of those self-inflatble air mattresses. I don't imagine myself w/o one!

Any suggestions?

I've used it touring and it's everything you could want in a 1 person tent, I am even able to sit up in it.
Campmor usually has great deals on all kinds of things, including this tent.

For a one person tent, I have been VERY happy with my North Face Canyonlands. There's enough room to sit up, the entire inner tent is mesh for good venting and one whole side opens up to let in the moonlight - if you guy it out it becomes sort of an awning. The fly is made such that there is a vestibule on both sides big enough to store a full set of panniers. It isn't self-supporting but that has never been a problem for me. And guaranteed for life! As to sleeping bags, my recommendation is to buy a thin down bag and a good waterproof stuff sack for it. I sleep warm so I very rarely zipped it up but used it like a blanket.

I've got a eureka zeus exo 1 tent and a marmot pounder plus sleeping bag. The tent is garbage. I have used it about 20 times. The tent poles have busted in 3 different spots. Condensation is absolutely awful, even with the door flap open. It is small, light, and easy to setup however, so I'll be using it again this year because I'm too broke to buy another one. I've read other reviews of them that said that they leak terrible in the rain too, although I haven't camped in anything but wet fog so far.

I have only tried out my marmot sleeping bag once so far, and it was 28 or 29 degrees out so I was still cold. It's rated down to 25, but I wouldn't want to use it in anything colder than 35 or so. It's incredibly light, small and comfortable. It is actually smaller than the $15 walmart fleece sleeping bag I used last summer that didn't keep warm even when it was only 45 or 50 degrees. The only complaint with it so far is it cost me about $200 through REI.
