Mountain Biking - Glove washing instructions?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I got some Specialized Team XC Long gloves (Black) they have been great and all but they get dirty, VERY dirty, any opinions on how to wash them, there aren't any washing instructions anywhere on the gloves or the package they came in, I was thinking just plain ol cold water and a sponge to rub off dirt, no soap but any opinions are welcome.

I throw mine in the washer with my other stinky bike clothes.
cold water, woolite, gentle cycle Hang Dry. Thats my recipe when they get to stinking.
You may want to scrub your grips down also at the same time so that the refunking period is delayed as much as possible

i just throw them in the wash with the rest of my stuff(shinpads hydrapak....) and then just hang to dry.
After the washing machine I throw my gloves in the dryer and they're still fine.

I hand wash them in the liquid hand soap we use. I do the same with the helmet. I use a bucket to soak the helmet, then rinse the helmet and gloves under the fawcet. A smell test is used to dtermine when to wash them.
