Hi, this is my first post ever, here, please bear with me and sorry it it's covered before. I just signed up today to Bikeforums. I have enjoyed biking for some time, and try to bike in the winter as well. I recently bought one of those devices where you can "ride' your bike in your living room, I'm sure you know what I mean, resistance devices. I want to keep biking daily, and if in the winter I miss a day of "real" biking, then at least I can use the machine.
Well, tried it for the first time today, half hour, was a great workout. But I noticed that after the workout (and I'll be as civilized here as I can) the tip part of my genitale (I am a male) felt very strange. Not really painful, but like it didn't really belong to me anymore. Not even numb, I could feel something, but it was odd. I was wearing blue jeans and boxer shorts, maybe that was the problem. Or what I am more worried about, did it somehow create a situation where the blood flow didn't want to go down into that area, because of the way I was riding, or the seat geometry.
The whole aura of that thing went away after a few minutes of just laying flat on bed, and it was back to normal. But for a while it just felt like there was an alien in my pants, I can't really explain it, it was just so weird. I just want to avoid it again. If it helps, I was not drinking any alcohol, I don't use any drugs or take any medications, and I don't have diabetes or impotency.
Any remedy? If it's because I wasn't wearing the right clothes, what should I wear, something like silk pants. I am sorry, I'm not aware of the right thing. Any help would be appreciated. I know it sounds a bit funny, but I'm not pulling any jokes, I am sorry if it's something everyone knows about anyway.
Thanks, Buckwheat
