I've been posting a few days already but wanted to say hi. I am just now getting back into road cycling after taking a 6 year break for college. I started cycling when I was 11 with my family and neighbors, then got competitive in road and velodrome a few years later. Went up to the national level before deciding at age 16 it was too much self torture. Then I sold everything but my mountainbike which I rode less and less as college got more and more time consuming. Now that I'm a teacher, I have a little (read: little) more time and started cycling again, but found that I am sticking to the road even on my MTB. I found this forum to help me shop for a new bike and hopefully find a seat that will get my fiancee to actually enjoy cycling with me instead of complaining about her sore @$$.Glad to be back with the skinny tire team!
