Triathlon - Where can I find a list of the bikes that won the most races.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just curious to see where Trek, Griffen, Softride, and a few others place.

cervelo would be up there, and i don't think the bike matters as much as the engine, but i get your point, it would be an interesting fact to know

Good question. Inquiring minds want to know. Volunteer to help at the swim to bike transition at you next local triathalon and count them for us. Then post it here. More important races might have more custom built exotic bikes. A visiting rider asked that question at a local club ride and it ran between $600 (hers) and $4500.00 Every bike was different and none were one of a kind custom built.

Inside Triathlon or triathlon Magazine is your best source...send an email and ask. I know The Cannondale Ironman frame has had some of the fastest times in Kona in the last few years. Also, you don't need to look to far to know that the Trek TT frame with Lance as a single rider or any of the members of US Postal or Discovery as a Team-TT has ruled the Tour de France. Don't forget Tim Deboom won twice on the same frame in Kona as well. I own both of the above noted bikes and can tell you the Trek TT with Zipp Z999's is the fastest bike I have ever raced.

Up to a point it's not about the bike. Up to a point.
