Touring - Pedals?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
hey guys, i have a pair of sidi blaze shoes... i was lookin for a pedal that fits my style...i have a lemond alpe d'huez and i mostly do like 50 mile rides...i do not want an eggbeater style of pedal..i'll like a platformish, more road like clipless pedal....do you guys know of any that are SPD compatible?
I just won a set of Shimano M324's off Ebay the other day. They have the SPD on one side and a regular platform on the other so I can ride to the store and shorter trips that don't need me to clip in and out.
I just got Ultegras SPD-L and I can not believe how much better they were than the several different models of SPD pedals I had tried. $88 dollars counting shipping on eBay
