Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. hey, i need help choosing a new mountain bike.
I need a bike with disk breaks and front suspention.
i already have a specialized bike with disc breaks and front suspension that costs 650$
but i just found a SCHWINN bike for 700$: just 50 $ more with seat suspention and even bigger front disc breaks with the same front suspention.
I was wondering what brand is better? and what bike should i get?
by the way: right now I have specialized model: Hardrock and the model from SCHWINN is model: Blackline.
i was looking in the internet and in the SCHWINN's website i couldnt find the blackline model... strange
is it a fake model from canadian tire?
please help me!!! ;)

Didn't Schwinn sell their name to some outfit out west that imports cheaply made bikes from Asia to sell in bigbox department stores? If so, I would be very leery of buying one.

Schwinn is now made by Pacific Bicycle! Yuck!
