Hello everyone!!!

I've been lurking here at Bike Forums for a while and decided it was time for me to participate.

I’m 35 years old, in Indianapolis, Indiana and I have just recently gotten back into cycling. For the past few months I’ve been riding a hybrid and loving it. But it really hasn’t taken me too long to outgrow that bike and I decided it was time for a real road bike.

Last week I ordered a Campy Chorus equipped Ti Habanero (Habby is short for Habanero) road bike which I should have before Christmas sometime. I'm really excited about this bike!!! I’m not much for winter riding so I’ll be hitting the trainer and rollers till spring.

I plan on doing a lot of miles come spring time working my way up to my first century before the end of next summer.

I look forward to chatting with everyone.

Tom

Welcome aboard! Your story sounds a lot like mine -- getting back into cycling, bought a hybrid or MTB, and after some miles got in touch with our 'inner roadie' and now we're both waiting to take delivery of our road sleds... :D

Yours is nicer than mine, though...
