A good friend of mine has an ant pursuit style bike. It's beautiful! I think that bostontrevor is also working with mike to have a bike built up for him... hell he might already have it.

I am way into that aesthetically, but I can't shake the feeling of, that bendy tube looks cool but what's the practical application.

The bendy tube looks cool. End of story. You can check his website if you want the full story.
Yeah, I'm getting one, but it won't be done for another few weeks and I won't see it until I'm back in Ireland in April. I'll be sure to post up when it's done, though.
I've got mad love for the ant bikes, but my wallet doesn't give me ant bike sort of love...
I am slowly turning my old conversion into a scorcher though, old 60's british touring bike priest bars, 700x35 tires, bmx pedals, all the parts are there but the tweaking has just begun.

that front hub is ridiculous.
anyone know why he angles the rear track ends down? ive heard of others giving them an upwards angle to decrese the need to adjust your rear break if you have one... but why down?

I love his bikes. The front drum hubs are indeed most awesome.

Seriously! I keep looking out for an old cruiser frame with that kind of frame so I can build it up as a scorcher. I found one once, but it was too small and the diameter of the seat tube was so narrow that when I tried to use a wicked-long post, it just bent under my weight. I guess I'll have to start saving for my ANT (my son can just go to U. Mass., anyway).
I can't decide about those bikes. innovative designs, a builder with a bulletproof CV, tigged with style, for the people by the people, blablabla. But goddamn are they expensive.
