Lucky! (*said in my best Napoleon Dynamite voice*)

My spring break is not until the last week in April....the week after the TAKS tests here. Ugh!

Have fun on your break, ChAnMan!

St. Joseph's Day!
Ususally it's on the 19th but because of Sunday, it is observed on Monday.
This matters if you're Italian (and Catholic), particularly on the Eastern Seaboard, or if any reason to celebrate is good enough for you. It is for me.

We haven't had any measureable snowfall since before Dec. 21st, which is the first day of Winter. So now, tomorrow is our first day of Spring and guess, what....they are predicting a foot of snow!

Yep, tomorrow is a special day.

Stacey, King Termite-
I think it is time you let this go. I've said it before, I alone do not make a decision of this caliber. In no way am I entitled to do that. Most of the complaints have been from a few of the posters in these threads, primarily people who limit themselves to the idea "Phantomcow2 does not like these posts and deletes anything he does not like, what a tool"'

The truth of the matter is, things will settle down. Hopefully you will get this bee out of your bonnet and enjoy Foo. If posting in 8 different one word reply threads is all that enjoyed of this forum, I suggest finding another forum to post on.

Ah my ride was great! I even had to take of the gloves and roll up the sleeves! Did 60 miles. It was hard coming back though because of a 10-15MPH head wind but thats fine. I was outside!

I wish it was warm enough to do a nice MTB ride :(. Right now, there is still snow and ice on the trails.

I hear that man. Doesn't look like rain is going to let up till the temps drop. One thing or another - keeps conspiring to keep me off the bike.

Spring? What kind? A coil? What force constant? Is it a harmonic spring or an anharmonic spring? What's so special about this spring that you need to devote a time tomorrow to it? Is it for one of the fancy tools you work with?

Why should we let it go?

I think you (and whoever was part of the decision) were being elitist and should have polled or asked members before just removing them. Did you really think there would be no negative feedback?

Because continuing to hold on and whine will get you nowhere. You are only wasting your energy.
Remember what happened after the end of the !Do not reply!? There are a ton of whining after, nothing ever came from it except people got warned. People made their threads about it, it was even in a few peoples signatures, but things settled.

I'm going to step in for a minute.

Taking threads off topic on purpose is disruptive. I'll ask that members who have problems with other members take it to the PM system and not continue to disrupt this thread.

Members who continue to do so will receive warnings, which will be added on to any other warnings they've already received. And we do have a three strikes policy here, so once you reach three strikes, your account is suspended.

Back on topic, please!

Thanks!

You lend no credence to your position through exageration. Paraphrasing "quotes" helps none either.

Yes, things will settle down... ignore it and it or the voices that speak on injustice will go away. There has been nothing but suspicions, fears and personal displeasures offered to the members as to why these threads were pulled. How about some rational reasons?

This is the SECOND time you've offered the 'if you don't like it, leave' solution... you're learning the mantra well. Not the way to encourage support from the disgruntled. I happen to enjoy the camaradere here, I have no plans or desires to go elsewhere. tho' it is my wish that we'd get more reasonable and communicative moderation practices.

EDIT: I didn't see Koffee's message above prior to submitting mu post. I was in Reply mode, got called away and then came back to finish my post... after Koffee's edict.

March 20 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_20) is the 90th anniversary of Einstein's publication on the theory of relativity. Or the 2049th anniversary of Julius Caesar's funeral.

Speaking of his Caesars funeral, was there ever a thread about the Ides of March>?

I don't think so. At least not in Foo this year. But it was mentioned in the thread about Pi Day.

You mean Caesar or Einstein? I think you mean Caesar, but wishing Einstein well might give you good karma for physics next year. ;)
