whats the quality of velocity rims ?

difference between arrowhead and Deep-V ?

price range ?

colors ?

any other rim suggestions ?

very good quality.
depth of profile, google and check the actual dimensions for yourself.
check your LBS and favortie OBS.
color depends on rim, deep v have the most selection i believe.
ambrosio, mavic, etc.

Deep-Vs are overkill if you're not really running on streets like NY. They're on heavier than aeroheads. Deep-Vs are deeper 19x30 aeroheads are 20x21.


more color selection with deep-vs also more pricey.

other options: mavic open pro/sport, dtswiss.

lotsa a colors, approx 65 for rim alone (no hub, no spokes) and since your a new yorker you would appreciate their durabiity. Btw, you can get em up at king kog in brooklyn too.

Great rims that will stay true if for a long time when done right. I have the Aerohead on my roadie. Had them for 3 years so far and love them still.

i've seen deep v's in black, grey, red, blue, yellow, lime green, pink, brown, dark purple, white, and orange... maybe more i can't think of.

i got my pink v's from yojimbo's for $70 each (rims)

Yes...I've seen a few pointed out in the ebay thread. Off the top of my head...I've got some unmachined Mavic Open 4CDs on my roadie in anodized dark grey.
