What is up with people these days?! Earlier this year, there was an article and follow-up articles in the local paper about two siblings ages 8 and 6 who went missing for about 24 hours. It was a Sunday afternoon when they told their dad they were going to the library (about 3 blocks away). The library closes at 5pm. The parents didn't report their kids missing til around midnight. When asked why they didn't call the police sooner, their answer was, "Well, we let them stay out til around 10:00 so we thought they'd be home by then." WTF?! Why in the world would they allow their 6 and 8 year olds to stay out UNSUPERVISED til 10:00pm?! And let me add that they live in a not-so-good part of town. Anyhow, turns out the kids ended up taking a local transportation to a mall about 5 miles away where they met some friends and spent the night at their house. The kids and their friends went back to the mall the next day where they were found by police.
Turns out these parents have 4 kids. The mom is 27 and the dad is 30. Their oldest kid is 11. You do the math and you can figure out why they don't make the best parenting decisions. BTW, all four kids are now under child protective services.

Ain't that the shame. It requires a higher iq to drive a car than it does to breed. And that is not saying much.

Could we pass a law that requires that he not be allowed to contribute anymore to the gene pool?
