Framebuilders - framebuilding classes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm considering taking a class on framebuilding. I was wondeirng if people have taken them before and where and what they think of them. The only two that I've stumbled across are the Koichi Yamaguchi class and the UBI class.
Thanks
Doug Fattic (http://www.classicrendezvous.com/USA/fattic_doug.htm) has one coming up soon, and Hot Tubes (http://www.hottubes.com/framebuildingclass.htm) is another option.

A builder from serotta will be giving a 2 day class in Gainesville in May for a mere $50. Let me know if your interested, because the class will be limited to 10 people.

This is probably way out of the way, but Pegoretti in Italy offers a 7 day framebuilding vacation. Riding included. :)

I just took the TIG steel framebuilding class at UBI last month. I learned everything that I need to know to build frames using TIG. I'm not saying I can build perfect frames, but now I have a good understanding of how they are built. And what you need to build them. And where to get all that stuff. I thought the class was well worth my money ($2150). Plus you can stay at the CycleHostel right next door. And you leave with a frame.
