Here is the "controversial" episode that Tom Cruise didn't want shown.

Didn't Issac Hayes, like, quit because of that episode?
No more Chef... :(
Yup - He quit.
But Comedy Central claim that it's not the end of Chef :)

Who are they going to use?
Adam Carolla?
Funny. Local radio morning DJs were just talking abou this. They pieced together bits of dialogue from other shows with Chef for the 10th season opener. It's kind of a "get back at Isaac Hayes" thing.

If I was Mat or Trey and Comedy Central bowed down to Tom Cruise, I would probably just find another network for south park.
From what Drew and Mike said, it was an issue with Paramount. That company owns both "Mission Impossible 3" and "South Park." Tom Cruise refused to tour for "Mission Impossible 3" (which they should have just let him refuse. He'd probably only hurt the movie) if the show was aired again. Blaming Isaac Hayes was just easy so that's what they did. Really, how can you be on a show for 9 seasons that has a subshow called "Jesus and Friends" and a love triangle with Satan and suddenly be offended by the shows lampooning of religion.

So its okay to make fun of one religion but not make fun of another religion because its "not" christianity or etc?
Amazing, how bigoted and hypocritcal this country's media/hollywood can be.

I thought the R. Kelly impersonation was hilarious!
And as long as we are on the subject of religion, I am now a born again Frisbeeterian.

Didn't you ever lose a frisbee up on the roof, when you were a kid?
"Frisbeeterian" sounds like "Presbyterian"
(It kind of loses something when you have to explain it.)
*Tap tap tap*
Is this thing on?

What the he|| is Tom Cruise doing watching Southpark? Doesn't he have anything better to do?
PS.. That was a joke. I thought the whole Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet thing was pretty funny. Maybe that hit a little too close for comfort. That was a joke too(in case you didn't know).

Cruise is a "Tool"... He may have more money, but he'll never be as cool or as funny as Matt and Trey. This week's premier will go down as a classic South Park episode.
And yes...the "Gingers" episode from last season was freakin' hilarious!!

I don't understand why people are still making a fuss about Tom Cruise. Val Kilmer is waaayyyyy cooler. I always wanted to be Val Kilmer. Twice the hotness, twice the attitude, 3 times the silly movie roles, none of the thetans.

Cruise needs to get a sense of humor. Former President Bush always remarked how funny Dana Carvey's impression was of him. Micheal Jackson was always up for Weird Al Yankovic to parody his songs. Get a grip Cruise.

Ok...I watched it. I wasn't impressed. It was almost like I had already seen it before. Oh, yeah, that's right. I have. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology#Operating_Thetan_levels_and_the_Xenu_incident) Almost word for word.
Actually, I personally was never particularly fond of parodies of Catholicism on the show, but I figured it wasn't worth getting bothered about because South Park pretty much makes fun of everything without prejudice.
I have to say though, "Dad! Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet!" left me in stitches.
was this the episode they showed last night with the child molesting super adventure club and chef getting eaten at the end?

No. Last night was a rerun of this season's opener, I think. I DVR'd it so I could watch. I haven't seen the Scientology episode yet.
