Well my search has begun to outfit my new bike with a rack. Of course the most readily available is the Blackburn and one of the least expensive. I know that TUBUS is available, but a bit out of my price range right now.

Where can a Yank get a steel rack, like the Tortec Steel or Stainless at a reasonable price - less than US $75.00?

Any suggestions for other brands at competitive prices???

i tortured myself for so long about my rack. go with the tubus? maybe get one from jandd or old man mountain? i found that this was a good overview: http://arkel-od.com/tips/rack.asp?fl=1&site= . finally, after putting off the decision for months, i went with the blackburn expedition. so far, it's been perfect.
