Oh what sophisticated wit. Did you have help with that one?
And 35 isn't middle aged, but I'm sure you have a problem deciphering the difference between such big #'s as 35 & 50.
How did you stop aging?

35 is middle-aged. People have their mid-life crisis and buy a Porsche (or a BMX bike) when they're 35.

Corvette is a good one, same with a motorcycle.
Although more recently I've seen more fat, middle aged guys join airsoft teams.

Yes, a Corvette would also work. The Porsche was a bad example; more often than not, men in their MLC embarass themselves further by buying crappy American muscle cars.

hey now...corvette is americana. so is camaro. it is a shame that the former is often associated with MLC's and the latter mullets
to the best of my knowledge, corvettes are about as good as you can get for the money. my dream is to have a modified corvette once i start making some money

Starting at $44,000. You can get a Subaru that gets better gas mileage, seats more people more comfortably, doesn't scrape the ground on speedbumps, and can actually turn for less than that.
And it's not even all that much slower.

My dream is also the WRX STi.
Plus with the STi you dont have to deal with having leaf springs and a live axel like on a Corvette. And isnt the LT1 in the Corvette still a pushrod engine?

When i turned 40 y/o i decided i would take up BMX'ng & MTB'ng (been kind of rough, i haven't been on a bike since i was 14 y/o) well now 6 months later i think as myself as a pro & i have decided i am going to make a living with BMX free style.

I hate to inform you little boys this, but the life expectancy of only 70 is long ago. Americans are living much longer, thus 35 is hardly middle aged anymore.
Most guys 35 sit on their butts and are as fun as watching grass grow. I am an active 35 year old, and proud of it.
My dream is also the WRX STi.

? a corvette is independent wishbone.
there will always be a place for the 350 small block...its just that the younger generation has grown up on rice rockets

If were all little boys, then why do you waste your time talking and posting on the forum? And for the note, i think beerman is 20 something so hes not little...
Dont you have a job or something that you could be doing instead of ruining our forum with your non-sense bull****?

I was pretty sure a Corrvette used a live axel in the back still?
Either way, I still love 350's, 'vettes, american muscle, and I dont like rice, in fact I'm part of a board against it (www.ricecopforums.com). The only reason I was commenting on the WRX STi was because it is my dream car.

So prozakk, is 35 the new 15? (Before you respond, just joking)
On the Corvette, it has 4 wheel independent suspension and, overall, is difficult to beat for the money, pushrods and all. Why make the motor overly complex when it is as light weight and powerful as the corvette motor (400hp base).

American cars are so much better than these rice burners everyone wants. I would have loved to grow up in the 70's with all my dream cars '71 Plymouth Cuda, '70 Plymouth Superbird, '68 Olds 442, '69 Dodge Charger, 68-69' Chevy Camaro, and most of the mopars of the time other than dodge darts.
and to get back to topic i work in the dairy dept. of a grocery store. laugh all you want, im only 17 and it pays money so its all good.

Yes, because a car that weighs 3200lbs and has 300hp is a rice burner.

I'm a bike mechanic in the summer, snowboard instructor in the winter.
And for all the sh*t that Vette owners take, the Corvette is still one of the best combinations of performance, sex appeal, reliability and sheer value out there.

YOu know for the price of whichever car that is you mention you can build a mighty fine 1,000+ HP american street motor & have some REAL power & acceleration.

Of course you can. You would also have something totally impracticle, almost non-streetable, limited to road, plus you would need to find a donor vehicle to drop it in, keep it emmisions friendly for inspection and have enough gas to get it places.
You can have your ungodly amounts of power, and get thown into the seat when you hit the throttle to go in a straight line.
I can get the same effects in a STi and still be able to fly around the backroads and windy courses.

Last weekend i was coming home from the local grocery store and when we were sitting at the light right by the shopping center an orange Lamborghini Gallardo drove by. I had an orgasm.
