I just read this in VeloNews. Roland Green became the first North American Male since '94 to win a World Cup race. This guy is amazing.

We've really hit the bottom when we start getting excited about a Canadian winning - (No disrespect to our friends to the North). Just a statement on the sad state of competitive cycling in the U.S.

Props to Roland nonetheless. Impressive. You think we can get him to move south?

Well, Roland will be racing on the road for the US Postal team. Does that count?

You're right Dirt, the state of men's offroad cycling is pretty sad. No Pro from the US can finish in the top 20 on a consistent basis. Now the women, that's a different story. Allison Dunlap finished third in this same race.
