I'm a newbie and I need to know...I want to replace my front derailleur for a 2002 Specialized Allez road bike I recently bought...It has a triple crankset and I need to know If I need a triple front derailleur...I know I need a 31.8mm clmap but not sure on what type of derailleur would be compatible with the stock setup...Help please :o ...I found th l ink with the specs of the bike...

You need a triple. But really, why bother changing a front deraillieur? The current one is more than adequate if it isn't worn out.

Is there anything wrong with the one that's already on it?
If you do get a new one you'd need a triple

Where can I find the adapters for converting clamp on deraileur to braze on?
