This week, U.S. News and World Report has an article (on page 71) about a new Nike line of cold weather active wear called the Sphere line. It debuted in the last winter olympics, and is now entering the stores. The article says "body heat is trapped, sweat wicks away." A jacket with hood is $120. The author says "on bike rides at 35 to 40 degrees, I felt balmy and dry." You can order it from niketown.com. Let me know how you like it, and then maybe I'll order one. :)

With the weather we've had lately, 35-40 degrees is balmy!
I think the amount of dryness depends a lot on the length of the ride - any mention in the article of how long the author was riding? I find a half hour ride in those temps, sweating isn't a real big issue, but longer rides with sweat=getting cold.
I have a Louis Garneau jacket, about same price, does same stuff. I'm still engaged in an informal boycott of Nike due to their takeover of Cooper hockey equipment and Bauer skates and trashing the Cooper name about 6 or 7 years ago (I have a long memory!!)
Ditto I haven't bought anything Nike since my Hi tops as a Junior in HS.
