I have a really beat-up Linear USS Recumbent available to any brave soul who wants it.

I built it at the local bicycle collective, "Plan B". I'm leaving town in one week (on 3/31) so if you want the bike, you're gonna make a $50 donation to Plan B (either directly or through me), and then you can have the wobbly death machine for your very own.

I don't recommend riding it without building a better steering linkage. Tinkerers and engineers welcome. It could be built into a nice bike, and I'd be interested in seeing that happen.

Get in touch, I'm leaving town in a week!

Perhaps I wasn't clear...

This is an actual LINEAR RECUMBENT! It is not a homebrew frankenbike. The entire frame & seat are all geniune LINEAR. The steering linkage is missing everything forward of the handlebars. I built a temporary linkage myself, and have been riding the bike around for the past two months.

I'm giving it away because I'm leaving New Orleans. I'd like it if the person who takes the bike makes a $50 donation to the Plan B Community Bicycle Project here in NOLA.

I can't believe I can't give this thing away.

Get in touch if you want it.

It's not that you can't give it away, freight cost is very prohibitive. If I lived near you, I'd take it.

Bike taken by local yokel. Mission complete!
