Hey, I'm new to bike restoring but so far i've restored 3 bike, a schwinn moutain bike, a Raleigh 10speed from i think 66, and i just finished restoring a phillips 3-speed from 56. I have some pictures of my phillips and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on it, i only know the year from the sturmey archer hub, otherwise i've found no info. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=5328097&imageID=592190311&Mytoken=8846B4C0-544F-5415-127A12FB024410D32134430

those are the before and afters of the phillips bike so if anyone has any info i would love it.
Also the next bike i want to fix up is a stingray pea picker but i'm not sure where to find one in bad shape, they seem pretty rare and fixed up and expansive on ebay. So if anyone has any tips on shops or websites i'd love it, the only help i've gotten is try to get lucky at thrift stores.

thanks for any help!

Looks like you have a Phillips made from the British Cycle Corp. who was based out of Birmingham, England. You can tell by the sprocket that says Phillips. Check out Sheldon Brown's info, at Harris Cyclery's web site. Nice job! looks great in the pics. What kind of paint did you use?

thanks for the site. all i did was use gloss spray paint, I took it apart sanded completely down and then put 3 coates on it.

Check this site out. These guys are nuts about Stingrays. There are some experts here that can answer any questions, and a classified sub forum to buy and sell stuff. Enjoy, and I'll see you there! :)
