I have a Trek bike circa 2001. I've been hanging it in my garage up on a rack after each ride. The label now has wrinkles in it that just look plain bizarre. I tried to smooth them out but to no avail. Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase replacement stickers? I realize that I will be mocked insessitantly for this but I like a pretty bike. Everything has to be neat and clean...I guess I'm anal that way......whoops.
Please help!
Check with Trek dealer or www.trekbikes.com for new decals. Many would just carefully peel them off and be done with it.

Don't forget to clear coat your decals after you reapply them for that super smooth feel!:p

i had the same problem with a bike frame. i chipped the decal off with the edge of a credit card and reapplied the replacement decal. easy! or you can just go naked.

Here's a tip:
Take a hairdryer, and put it on the lowest setting. Pass the hairdryer over the area for a few minutes, don't get too close or you'll burn the decal. Pass it just enough to where you can pull up the edge of the decal. The heat will soften up the adhesive (and decal) to the point where you can smooth it out!

I've done the hairdryer act before, a couple times. It works as long as you don't melt the decal
