Yesterday I could not access the site. I clicked the BF icon on my bookmark toolbar and got the cPanel page informing me there was no website configured at that address. I got the same page when I Googled it. So bikeforums.net can no longer be found at bikeforums.net?

The only way I found my way back on is when I called a friend and had him go to the site. He recieved additional info that the site was relocated at 69.16.211.161/

Why am I not given this additional info, in either Firefox or IE, or automatically redirected?

It's there in the message when you first log in... that the server is being moved, but that the DNS is 69.blah.blah.blah. If you look at the error message, you should be able to click directly on the DNS and it will take you to bikeforums.

Nope. Again typed in bikeforums.net and did not get an error message, just

I tried with IE and got the same. Same when I tried to access the site from Google.

Hmmmm... I get this:

Bike Forums Message
Moving servers. Site will be up shortly... Update! DNS updating, new IP: http://69.16.211.161 :)

Perhaps it's your firefox then? :(

It happens with Explorer too. Very perplexing! The only time I get what you get is when I follow a BF link from my email. Who knows. Maybe I'll just purge my history, cache, etc. see if that does the trick.

Nah I had that Cpanel thing as well. It wasn't too hard to tell that it was from the server change.
