Foo - The forums lately remind me of the 4th of July.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Lately these forums remind me of the 4th of July when i was a kid. We used to have a bunch of old fireworks held over from years past. Sometimes you would light something and it would take off like a rocket and make the most beautiful colors and and a loud bang. Other times you would light something and it would just fizzle out.

Much like the forums of late. Sometimes, you click a thread and it pops up lightening fast and other times you click and nothing happens. Anyone else noticing this? I know that is probably related to the recent server changes, etc. but just commenting.

haha yeah. This server has been really really bad today. Freaking fast sometimes and then other times it times out, or takes 1/2 a minute+ to load up.

Apparently so. No way to fix it either. I can't find the delete post feature.

click on the edit button at the bottom of your post, and then when it comes to the edit page, at the top is where you can delete your post.. as for deleting the other threads you made, i think the mods have to do that.

Look, i know how to delet a post. I can't delete a thread. That's what i mean. I think i need to get away from Bike Forums for a little while. Too frustrating at the current time. Hopefully, he'll get the bugs worked out, but till then...

Might the fizzling out or not be due to the subject matter of the various threads?
