Pegs?

im looking at gettin a set of pegs. these will be my first set and i have no experience with pegs at all. what kind of pegs would be good to start with, grooved or smooth etc...?

anyone got tips on the best way to learn to grind? which grind would be best to start with?

Just start with double peg grinds on concrete medians to get the feel for it, maybe build yourself a funpad with some coping to help.

Kink or Animal pegs...


I beleive that the Kink OG's have a warranty, and if the Animal pegs are good enough for freaking Edwin, there good enough for you...

Start on benches and concrete structures. If you end up trying rails, a grooved or rough one may be your thing.

There both strong...so pick one, you seem to have something against Kink, so get Animals...

kink O.G. for life. The kink light pegs i had cracked in between the anti spin holes and there is a big crack from one end to the other

I'm happy with my Macneil heat treated pegs.
They've held up well (I'm 180lbs and ungraceful), and they have anti rotation screws.

As for how to start grinding, I'd say the feeble grind is the first you want to learn.
Start by practicing bunnyhopping sideways, then do it beside a ledge and aim the front tire to land at the edge.
