Does it really have to be called "de" instead of "of"?

I was checking out the site earlier this year. I was very disappointed when I saw no details on any women's part of the stage race. I'm sure there would be a nice field if they organized it. Perhaps even more depth to it than the men's field since there are a lot of organized women's teams/organizations right in Georgia. Plus a full purse would really perk our ears up for other Pros in the U.S.

I agree "Tour de Georgia" looks kinda dumb. It's not like the Italians call their race "Tour d'Italia," or the Spanish "Tour d'Espana" or the Germans "Tour de Deutschland."

It makes them look like wanna-bes, which is too bad for a race of this calibre. Ah, the difference a particle can make.

Cheers,
Jamie

How about "The AOHHG" (pronounced ay-oh-aitch-aitch-gee...) short for All Over Hell and Half of Georgia.
