I have my own bicycle repair business and I'm going to invest in attending a mechanics institute this summer. The business is called Clean, Tune & True. That's what I do. Basic maintenance, minor truing and cleaning. Next year I'm planning on entering the bike rental business as well. I've been doing my own maintenance and repair work for the past ten years so I decided that when I had extra time, I'm a high school teacher full time, I'd make some extra cash and write off what I enjoy doing.

Ok here's the question: I've got a couple of weeks this summer which institue should I choose? I'm currently leaning towards United's 2 week shop owner course.

Thanks for your help!

Yikes, sounds like we should be asking you!

One of the guys at work sent his son to the course in Ashland, Oregon a few year's back. But, I think that was so Mom and Dad could go to the Shakespeare Festival and hang out in Ashland!

Good luck, we expect a report back from which ever class you choose.

I went to UBI last summer. I took the course you are looking at. It was great. Ron and the guys are great instructers. You wont be disapointed.
