Road Cycling - Sunglasses

Anybody have the wraparound glasses with the prescription insert? The type you might find at performance bike. I tried to get my actual prescription fit into a set of bolle' glasses, however they would not conform to the curvature of the frames. I figured the inserts would work regardless of the curvature of the frames. Any opinions?

Rudy Project has some glasses with Rx inserts. I dont need Rx perscriptions..I am fortunate to have 20/20. But you could take a looksy at their website.

I have the Bolle Parole glasses with the prescription insert and it works great.

Even without the interchangeable sunglass lenses, it's good to be able to change the prescription in a good pair of sports type frames.

I only need help with the close ups. In Wall Mart sporting goods fishing section they have Polaroid wrap around glasses with an assortment of magnification from 150 to it think 300 or so. They are 18 bucks and they are great if that's all you need. Good luck.

Check the size of the insert blanks. The Bolle Parole's are pretty big. So are the Rudys, but they're a lot more $$$. I have Adidas Evil Eyes with inserts. They are a great product, highly adjustable, etc., but the blank in really small.

I work for Lenscrafters and Sunglass Hut. I would suggest wearing contacts and wear sunglasses. You can go with the whole prescription sunglasses but that does cost more. Not to mention a lot of manufactures have a prescription limit for lenses. I always suggest getting presciption Oakleys because you can put prescriptions with a lot of there frames.
